Sesame Glazed Salmon Bowl

A quick and easy dinner that is PACKED with flavour. The sesame glazed salmon is perfectly golden and the sriracha aioli drizzled on top with some green onions to garnish really ties it all together. Serve over rice with steamed greens!

Ingredients
  

Sesame Glazed Salmon

  • 1 lb Salmon
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • Sesame seeds

Creamy Spicy Aioli

  • ΒΌ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha or other chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Rice & Broccoli

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 head broccoli
  • Green onions to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Mix up the marinade: soy sauce, sesame oil, lime zest, honey, garlic and dijon. Pat dry the salmon filets (skin on or off) and let marinade for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • Once marinaded, place the salmon filets on a baking sheet with some parchment paper and sprinkle over some sesame seeds on top. Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until cooked to your liking.
  • Meanwhile, mix up the mayonnaise, sriracha, and sesame oil. This will be our aioli!
  • Once the salmon is slightly golden and cooked to your liking, serve over rice with steamed broccoli and garnish with the spicy aioli, green onions and more sesame seeds.
