Tips for Roasting Garlic Like a Pro

  • Whole Head or Sliced? You can roast the heads whole, or slice off just the top to expose the cloves for even more caramelization.

  • Wrap It Tight: Wrap each head in foil with a drizzle of olive oil to lock in moisture and prevent burning.

  • Check for Doneness: Roast at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the cloves are soft, golden, and spreadable.

  • Extra Bonus: Roasted garlic keeps well in the fridge—use leftovers in soups, mashed potatoes, or spread on toast!

Step One:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Roast 2 heads of garlic whole (or sliced across the top) wrapped in foil until soft and golden, about 45 min to 1 hour.
